If you are in the mood for some volleyball in San Mateo, head down to the San Mateo Event Center on Dec. 13 and 14 and enjoy Boys Power League Region Championships.
This free-to-attend volleyball tournament will be held at Expo Hall and Fiesta Hall, with the venue door opening at 8 a.m. The tournament will kick off with the first serve at 8:30 a.m.
According to official NCVA site rules, outside food and beverages inside NCVA facilities are not allowed; however, you will be able to refresh yourself between the games with a wide selection of healthy treats available at the San Mateo Event Center, including Chicken Caesar Salads, Fruit Bowls, Yogurts, Danishes and a variety of Juices, Powerade and Gatorade drinks.
Parking is available at the east lot at 1346 Saratoga Drive with the parking fee set at $10 per vehicle (cash only). However, don’t hesitate to explore tailgating options to make the day not just healthy and fun, but also environmentally friendly.
